About Us – IEC School of Law
The IEC School of Law at IEC University, Kalujhanda, Baddi, Dist. Solan, Himachal Pradesh, stands as a beacon of legal education committed to cultivating a new generation of legal professionals who are intellectually equipped, ethically grounded, and socially responsible. With a progressive approach to law and justice, our School of Law fosters a vibrant academic culture that blends theoretical foundations with practical experience.
At IEC School of Law, we offer a diverse and structured academic portfolio that addresses both foundational and advanced aspects of legal education. Our undergraduate programs include the LL.B. (3 Years) program for graduates, and the B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) (5 Years) integrated program for students directly after school. These programs are designed to prepare students for a wide range of legal careers by providing a thorough grounding in legal theory, case law, legislative frameworks, and practical legal skills.
For advanced learners and legal professionals seeking to deepen their expertise, we offer the LL.M. (1 Year) postgraduate program with specialization options in Intellectual Property Rights (IPR), Constitutional Law, Criminal Law, and Business Law. These streams allow focused legal study in high-demand areas, enabling students to emerge as domain-specific experts.
We also offer a Ph.D. in Law, encouraging rigorous academic research and contributing to scholarly legal discourse and policy development. Our doctoral program nurtures independent legal scholars who can contribute meaningfully to the academic, judicial, and legislative landscape.
We take pride in our dedicated faculty comprising distinguished scholars, experienced legal practitioners, and judicial experts who bring with them a wealth of academic insight and courtroom experience. Their guidance ensures that students are not only taught the law but are inspired to uphold justice and constitutional values in every aspect of their professional lives.
Our commitment goes beyond the classroom. The IEC School of Law actively engages with the legal fraternity, courts, NGOs, government bodies, and corporate legal departments to provide students with holistic exposure to various areas of law such as criminal law, corporate law, constitutional law, environmental law, and international law. This ensures that our graduates are well-prepared to take on roles as advocates, judicial officers, corporate legal advisors, academicians, policymakers, and legal activists.
We emphasize the importance of ethics, justice, and service to society. Our Legal Aid and Awareness initiatives work directly with local communities, addressing legal grievances, spreading awareness, and empowering citizens with knowledge
