Program Outcomes
PO1: Professional Knowledge:Critically apply theories, methodologies and knowledge to address fundamental questions, in their primary area of study,(Research critical thinking, content knowledge) and with the tools of research by exposing them to the mechanics of writing a dissertation and Thesis writing.
PO2: Research/Project Orientation:Pursue research of significance in the discipline or an interdisciplinary or creative project . Students plan and conduct this research or implement this project under the guidance of an advisor while developing the intellectual independence that typifies true scholarship.(Research, critical and creativethinking)
PO3: Entrepreneurship Capability:Demonstrate a mastery of skills and knowledge at a level required for college and university , teaching in their discipline and assessment of student learning (content Knowledge, Teaching).
PO4: Conformist:To foster self-expression balanced with respect for the right of others to voice their opinions.
PO5:: Critical Thinking Mindset:To To equip students with knowledge of the subject as well as a critical and analytical ability.
PO6: Leadership and Teamwork:To equip students to function effectively in diverse teams, and in multidisciplinary settings in collaborative writing.

Program Specific Outcomes
PSO1: To develop a critical and reflective orientation toward such social and cultural differences as race, gender, class , sexuality and language. This includes the ability to conduct ethical and responsible research.
PSO2: To demonstrate the ability to extract and convey information accurately in a variety of formats. Application of the knowledge of literature, theories, research and skills in different fields of literary practice.
PSO3: To identify and evaluate appropriate research sources, incorporating the sources into documented academic writing. . Knowledge of various critical theories it is expected that they will be able to construct their own meaning about the reality and his historical situations.
PSO4: To develop by: Lectures, discussions, presentations and extensive reading of prescribed reference texts. Typically measured by: in-class discussions, assignments, seminars and exams.
