IEC School of Humanities and Social Sciences has conducted an online 5 Days Workshop on Human Values and Ethics from 10-14th January 2022.
A one-day workshop in department on hand painting and embroideries. Students from all the departments participated actively and they made some beautiful samples and certificates were provided to them by the department.
Organised a 15-days training course on Stitching and embroidery. Individuals from near about villages actively participated and they learned about pattern making as per their designs and embroidery skills. Certificates were given to them by the department.
Department of Journalism and Mass Communication has organized one day workshop for Photography. Students actively participated in Workshop with great enthusiasm. It was very interesting and useful session indeed thus workshop executed and completed successfully.
Dr. Ishan Khan, Assistant Professor, Department of History, School of Humanities and Social Sciences, IEC University, Kalujhanda, Solan (H.P.) was the Convener of Historical Walk to Roper (Punjab). At the historical place Roper, History students of IEC University have participated on the Quiz Competition, Quiz and Painting Competition. Students also performeda heritage walk and visited 2000 years old Heritage Harappa Site in Roper (Punjab).During the Trip, 23 students participated in the Competitions.

Description: IEC School of Humanities and Social Sciences in collaboration with Phraseology Club celebrated "Aazadi ka Amrit Mohotsav" to mark the 75th Independence day. On 14th of August, 2021, several competitions like Essay Writing, Slogan Writing, Poster making, Poem Writing were conducted. Students from other schools of University also participated in the competition and certificates of participation were given to all the participants.

In 1956, Department of Journalism and Mass Communication under Media and Melody Club on 16th November 2021 have organized online and offline mode art exhibition which includes slogan writing on that particular day with university students there were 15 students who have participated in this exhibition.

There were 5 students present in this session all students one by one showcase their skill of poetry and also told one favourite poem .All faculties of journalism and Mass communication interacted with students and make them realize the importance of active participation in such activities.

Description: “An Optimist is the human personification of the spring” Summer, winter, and fall may have their fans, but spring is clearly the most lovable of the four seasons. The theme of the song was songs of springs. All participants have presented beautiful songs and made the entire atmosphere delighted; students from BPT department have sung group songs in melodious voices.
Description: On the eve of Bhimrao Ambedkar Jyanti, the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences, IEC University has successfully conducted a Stationery Distribution Programme among the slum children of Shahpur, Baddi on 12th April 2022. All the faculty members of the department along with the students participated in the event quite enthusiastically. Some of the glimpses are given below.
